I sincerely hope the developers update the game.The Beats Studio Buds, which first launched last summer, are now available in a trio of new colors. However, I'll still give a thumbs up, because the premise is something you should experience once. * Map screen requires too precise clicks for a game which is supposed to be played on a gamepad * Unskippable small cutscenes between levels You should celebrate with the player, not push him down. That's unnecessarily demoralizing for a roguelike, where you're supposed to play many runs. * Death screen doesn't show what you achieved, but just tells you that YOU FAILED. * There's no scaling of the regenerative shield, meaning the 10 shield points block roughly 1 hit in the area after the first boss * No way to check the temporary upgrades that you've collected * Pause screen blocks view of gameplay area and there's no countdown when you resume, meaning you will either surely lose HP or you just can't pause whenever you want. ![]() * Few temporary upgrades which truly alter your gameplay * It gets repetitive pretty fast, and that's due to: I very much like the premise of a rhythm based roguelike, but there are a lot of gamedesign issues that bother me. My playtime is wrong, since I play offline on a Steam Deck. ![]()
